There's gold in them thar hills! Red Marble releases Democracy 22008-07-30
Red Marble has released Positech Games' Democracy 2 for the Mac. The sequel to the innovative strategy title has you doing one basic thing: trying to stay elected. In order to stay elected, you have to spend your time balancing and appeasing just enough of the idiotic hordes...err....we mean, the good citizens of your country, so that they will do the obviously sensible thing, and vote for you.
Control everything from fiscal and social policy to defense spending. Unfortunately, in this game, when you get tired of their idiotic requests, you can't just have a military coup and toss them in work camps, so you will actually have to plot your strategy quasi-carefully.
